About

Eulix Vargas L.Ac., MSTOM, LMT, BPH, strives to provide families with the highest quality, personalized, and holistic healthcare in New York City.  She teaches parents to be healthy examples to their families.  It is her purpose and passion to encourage people to be active participants in taking responsibility of their own health.

As the director of Soft River Acupuncture in midtown Manhattan, Eulix’s clinical focus is on pediatrics, gynecology, pregnancy support, and gastro-intestinal problems.  She is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, with a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine, as well as a Bachelor’s of Professional Studies in Asian Holistic Health and Massage with a focus on Tuina, Chinese therapeutic massage.  Prior to her training, Eulix received her bachelor’s in pre-med biology from LeMoyne College.

Eulix’s emphasis on holistic healing has been a life-long journey for her.  Dealing with her own digestive issues as a child, her father’s decades-long struggle with Hepatitis C, and her family’s struggles with poor healthcare, Eulix made an early decision to take care of her own health.  As a former volunteer in several hospitals throughout New York City, she witnessed several of the limitations people experienced through conventional medicine.  Her decision to pursue a holistic practice is based on educating and empowering families of their options to better health.

Not many people are aware that they can make their own decisions to be healthier.  Eulix not only empowers adults, but children too.  There is a lack of Chinese medicine practitioners that focus on children, therefore, Eulix’s services are of great value to parents who are seeking a more holistic approach to improving their children’s health.
Eulix, her husband, and young son currently reside in Staten Island.  She spends her free time with family, reading, writing, learning about different cultures, traveling, meditating, and practicing Pilates.

Come visit Soft River Acupuncture for more information on how you can start towards a path to gentler, safer, and holistic healing.
